Insanely slow executing the simplest function

My desktop app (windows, in the US) has been slowing down over the past year or so, i kept assuming it was throttling because of the insane number of playlists I've created over the years (~1-2k ish?...). This past week it has now slowed to a latency that is unbearable e.g. trying to 'save to playlist' takes about 20-30 seconds to execute.

Any ideas? I've obviously rebooted a billion times and this has zero effect.

Can you try with another internet connection to see if you can notice any difference?

If that doesn't do the trick, we suggest that you perform a clean reinstall of the app. This will make sure there's no old cache files causing this.
