Solved!

Is it possible to keep using the version that supports XP?

My laptop is ancient: still running 32-bit XP.  I just started using Spotify again after years of not using it (I'd forgotten I even had an account), and I get a message on the screen saying that support for XP will soon be ending.  But I don't have the option of replacing the laptop, and my Win 7 desktop machine isn't back up and running yet after a recent move.

So will the version of Spotify I'm running right now still work, if I just keep using it (and keep the installer .exe file in case of a crash-and-rebuild) and don't try to upgrade, and never ask for support?

Hey @Xetwnk, welcome to the Community.

Hope you're doing great!

You can keep using it but once the support ends you won't be receiving new updates.

It's not guranteed that it will always work but it should normally 🙂

Hope this helps!

That sounds like what I wanted to know -- and it's good enough for me!
