Hey @TLCONRAD,

To add more music files stored on your computer:

  1. In the top-right corner, click > Settings.
  2. Scroll down to Local Files.
  3. Click ADD A SOURCE to point Spotify to other music files on your computer.
  4. Switch off sources you no longer want Spotify to check for local music files.

Nope. I've done that, still nothing.

What file format are they?

Hi Tobias,
I ripped them with Windows Media. I also saved two playlist files. So technically three files. Is it possible my PC is not "communicating" with Spotify?

Thank you

What file format?

C drive?  I am really frustrated.  I have done everything that I am supposed to, but I still cannot get my local files.

I just tried to attch the file and it said there was no "extension".  Is this what is wrong? Should I delete the CD's I ripped and do again?  If so, what do I need to do differently so my music shows up in Local Files or Windows Media?
