Local files unable to find japanese titles anymore

The issue is with the search function of japanese language. It stopped working for me as. The files only show up now if any of the name or artist/album metadata contain english which they can be searched by but japanese language results in 0 results.

It used to work before obviously. It doesn't work when spotify is set to japanese either which is usually my default.
