Long Blocks of Ads

Ever since the 0.9.6.72 update I have been experiencing long blocks of ads that play for at least 3 minutes, around 6 ads a break. I know I didn't pay for premium, but the ad blocks were never this bad before the update. I've quit the program thinking it was stuck on ads. Is this a new format or is something else going on?

That shouldn't be happening. Does it get better if you reinstall spotify?

I have tried reinstalling and no luck. Still get the long ad blocks.

Hey guys 🙂 

In response to an increase in reports of excessive audio advertising on Spotify free, I have opened it as a bug here on the community so we can gather all of the information in one place. The bugs topic has some requested details on it, if you haven't already provided all of those details on this topic, if you could do so on the bugs topic it would really help. 

So we can keep all of the discussion in one place (over on the bugs topic), I am going to lock this topic for now.
