Mid-listening, album starts from the beginning for no reason

Hi, I have a following problem: Whenever I'm listening an album, after a couple of songs, Spotify jumps right at the beginning and starts playing the album's first track again.

This same thing also happens if I'm listening an album and queueing songs between the album tracks. After a couple of songs, Spotify throws away all the songs I've queued and starts playing the album from the beginning. This is a minor nuisance but has gotten more and more annoying.

Restarting the application and/or the computer doesn't help and I've checked my settings and they're all normal. I'm not using the repeat all songs feature and I've not made mistakes when queueing songs. The problem doesn't occur on android, only on desktop.
