Music will stop playing from playlists under browse

Music will stop playing from playlists under browse

Multiple times a day my music will stop playing and the song on the bottom left changes to song from one of my saved playlists. I typically listen to playlists under the "Browse" section during the day. Randomly it will stop. When i look at the Spotify desktop window it will have a song from one of my saved playlists queued up as if I was listening to it. I confirmed that my account is not being used on another device. I have changed my password and forced log outs to confirm this. I do use my account on my Android phone in the morning and afternoons quite consistantly. I have confirmed this happens even when i log out on my Android phone.

 

Is there an update or bug fix for this in the works?

Quite a few people have reported issues with Spotify Connect between android and desktop. Could you try logging out of your android device and see if you get the same issue?

It does not happen if I sign out on my phone or if I put my phone in offline mode. Just a hastle
