My desktop spotify won't play songs, local files or playlists

My Question or Issue

 My Spotify won't let me play songs. Every time I try to play a single song, it will answer me with "Spotify can't play this right now. If you have the file on your computer you can import it". Guess what, it won't let me play Local Files either. When I've clicked on a playlist, it just goes through all the songs quickly, with no sound and no actual progress in the progress bar but still loading the thumbnails and song names along with artist names. I've tried everything the community has to offer. I've rebooted Spotify, I reinstalled Spotify, I restarted the computer, I checked my internet connection, I deleted "local-files.bnk", I turned off "hardware acceleration" in settings, I selected my default speaker device... I have no hope, I really don't know what I could do to fix this. Please, please help me, I'm desperate at this point.
