New Laptop, cannot download playlists

New Laptop, cannot download playlists

Hi,

I have a new laptop, and am trying to download albums/playlistsd but receiving the following error:

Device Limit Reached

Remove all downloads from another device to listen offline with this one.

How do I do this for my old (now inoperable) laptop so that I can download on the new one?

Thanks

Hey @spawn2048, welcome to the Spotify Community! 🎵

It looks like you have reached the max number of devices you can use to save content offline. Nothing to worry about though, you can clear the downloads from your other device and try to download again on the new device.

If you do not have access to the old device, please visit your account overview page and click Sign out everywhere. This should remove all your devices in a single click.

Once that is done, log into your new device again and see if the downloads work. Otherwise, you can get in touch with Spotify Chat Support. Let them know that you would like to reset your offline devices.

To know more about the offline feature, you can check out Listen Offline.

I hope that helps. For anything else, don't hesitate to reach out. 🙂
