My Question or Issue
I upgraded to release 1.0.99 but still Spotify does not work correctly after resuming (clicking the "On" button after hibernating or opening the lid). In previous versions Play/Stop button didn't do anything, there was no sound. In this newer version the time bar goes on but still there is no sound. Interface also seems slower. Restarting Spotify does not solve the issue, because closing the window does not terminate the background processes, which I need to kill manually. Aborting those processes makes Spotify to forget everything I had been doing, it seems it can only restore last session if it closes normally.
Please keep Spotify stable in Windows (nothing of this happens in my iMac). Premium users expect to pay for something which doesn't break anything important.

Hi! I've upgraded again Spotify (still same release 1.0.99, different smaller milestone/compilation) and now the sound works fine, seems fixed!
Hey @慕容維
I'm also on Windows 7, but I haven't had this issue. Just tried.
It's possible there might be an issue in audio settings or power settings.
Do you use an external soundcard, usb headphones or other similar equipment?
I'd recommend making your preferred audio output device as a default device:
1. right-click the speaker icon, select Playback devices.
2. Select the audio device you're using and set it as Default.
(if you have only one device, then it's most likely default anyway).
Let me know. 🙂

Just in case if it happens again, go check all your audio drivers and check if you have some updates to do.
