No sound for playing music

My Question or Issue

 I just bought a PC yesterday, and I’ve been trying to listen to music, but everytime I play something the sound doesn’t work, and I know there is a ton of forums for this topic, but the thing is that I have tried every single one I can find as in the volume mixer, reinstalling, enabling hardware acceleration, and even doing a clean restart for it. I am literally bummed because I don’t know what’s going on with it.

I know it sounds simple, but it's often overlooked. Could you try restarting your device? If that doesn't help, try a quick clean reinstallation of the app. Just follow the steps here. Try to create another user account and install Spotify there. Make sure oyu have all the latest drivers installed and you have selected a default output device in Volume Settings in Control Panel. Does this happen with Spotify only or any other app too? Let me know how it goes 🙂

If you're still having trouble, could you let me know the exact version of Spotify and the exact version of the operating system you're running?

Hey, 

Thank you for the response! I did try all of those, but it turned out to be that I had audio coming out from a different source I wasn’t using, so I had to to disable it.
