Only music in my Purchases directory appears in my Local Files

in the attached screenshot, i have several folders of artists in my /Music directory. There is a subdirectory called Purchases which contains music i have purchased. Only the music in the Purchases directory shows up in the Local Files list in spotify. I am wondering why the other music in the root Music folder does not show up. Anyone else see this?

Try to go your settings tab on your desktop, scroll down to the 'Local Files' section and click ' Add A Source'. Then click on the folder with the music you want to add.

That source is already listed. It just isn't listing the files in that directory, just the Purchases SUBdirectory.
