Spotify stops playing after a long track (over 10 minutes) and empties the queue and history.
Restarting shows the queue again. I reinstalled but that did not help.
Hey @decu
Does this issue happen when you're listening to the long tracks from playlist or other places, or from the queue?
I queued one 15-minute track and didn't run into this issue after it finished.
Also, please tell me Spotify version - it's under Menu dots - Help - About Spotify.
(if it doesn't let you post it, put it as a tag instead on the right of the message box).
I'm here for you 🙂
It happens from playlists and albums. Spotify version is 1.0.88.353.g15c26ea1.
I suggest a clean reinstall (removing Spotify folders from appdata before reinstall). Maybe it's a client glitch. 🙂
1. Close Spotify and uninstall it.
2. Go to %AppData% in Windows Explorer, and delete any Spotify folders you find in Local and Roaming folders.
3. Restart your computer.
4. Install Spotify.
Let me know how it goes!
It works properly now when I'm not running Spotify as administrator.
That's an interesting discovery.
Happy to hear everything works as expected! 🙂
