Playlist that are "secret"

Hi,

I don´t now why, suddenly all my play lists was Public! I allways set the status "make secret" to new lists. Is this because of an update or something?

And also, one of my friend searched on my full name instead and to my suprise he can find me (odd?) AND see all my lists, both public and "secret" personal list. How is this actually suppose to work? pretty disturbed over this. List are sometimes something VERY personal and really want to know that if i make my list personal it is for my eyes only.

Hi @roniner,

I am very sorry that this has happened. Before you do anything else, can you please check that in your Preferences, you have unchecked the following options:

'Publish my activity on Spotify'

'Automatically make new playlists public'

To access these on Windows, go to the three dots in the top left, then Edit > Preferences.

Beyond that I'm not really sure why your playlists have been switched from private to public, again very sorry.
