Playlist will freeze and not show song being played, or wont let me pasue, skip track etc

Spotify has been doing this for a few months now. I will listen to a playlist I found on the 'Browse' section, and after quite a few songs, it wont let me skip, puase, right click the song to add to track, or even show the current song being played. I have to close spotifyt and re-open it. I am still listening to the playlist, but it dont let me do any of the above!
