Podcast category pages fail to load in Windows version of Spotify

My Question or Issue

When I search for a podcast category and click on podcast category link, the podcast category page fails to load...I get the loading dots, but then the load fails. This is true of all podcast categories. Music genres / music categories load ok, but podcast categories fail to load. The error only happens on Windows...podcast categories load fine on iOS.

Thanks for posting in the Community.

Let's start with a clean reinstall of the app as described on this page, to make sure you're running a fresh installation. Use the Microsoft Store to get the app, if not already done so.

If you have any VPNs active, turn them off, as this may also cause issues with the performance of the app.

Also let us know if this issue is occurring with a different account on different devices with a different network connection.

Reinstall didn't fix the issue...

Here's how to replicate it on your end...

1) Use a Windows 10/11 PC

2) In search bar, search "Music+Talk"

3) In the Genre & Moods section of the search results, you'll find the Music+Talk category. Click on that.

4) The category fails to load. I just get the loading three dots....

We tried this and could reproduce it our end. We've passed this on to the right folks at Spotify who'll take care of it as soon as possible.

We've received word back from the folks backstage.

Music and Talk has now been revamped and the category is now know as 'theLiner'.
