Podcasts will stop playing randomly

My Question or Issue

Whenever I listen to podcasts using spotify it will randomly stop playing and give me a blue error message saying "Can't play the current song." The time it takes to stop playing is from 4 seconds to 5 minutes and this only happens with podcasts. I have tried multiple methods to solve it, like disabling hardware accelerations, clearing storage cache, uninstalling and reinstalling spotify, etc. Yet nothing has worked. Has anybody else come across this problem? Or knows of a solution to it?

Having the same issue - I listened to a podcast episode this morning for about an hour or so. Switched to another podcast and can't get through more than 30 seconds before it stops. I disabled the hardware acceleration and uninstalled and reinstalled with no success.
