Popping/Crackling on All Songs

I've seen this problem posted a lot, but never with any actual solution. I'm hearing random crackling and popping VERY frequently through all songs on desktop spotify whenever I play music through my plug-in speakers.

Spotify Web Player does not make these popping noises. Other music (via youtube or whatever else) is fine on these particular speakers. Other speakers/headphones are fine on Desktop Spotify. I've tried reinstalling, clearing cache, disabling hardware acceleration, turning off high-quality streaming, all to no avail.

Problem has been going on since a couple months ago. Please help, songs are unlistenable right now through these speakers.

Thank you for posting in the community. What happen if you lower the spotify volume by the app to like more than half? (Like 35%)?

this fixed the problem somehow, I can even turn it back up above 35% and its fine now. thanks!

Edit: actually, after listening to a couple songs, the popping is back..

Umh, kinda sad to hear. Can you please try to update your audio driver?
