My Question or Issue

Ich nutze das Mixtape bzw. diese Playlist. Leider stoppt die Musik nach jedem Titel?

(in Opera funktioniert es - Musik spielt weiter)

Wie kann ich das in Firefox einstellen, das die Musik NICHT stoppt?

Hey @User242, thanks for reaching out t the Community!

Hope you don't mind me replying in English. I'm afraid this feature isn't possible at the moment, but I could see how this can be useful. You can always create a new Idea about this here, and I'll also pass your feedback on to the right folks

I'll be here if you need anything else!

Hello!

I dont't want this as a new feature!

I do NOT want Spotify to stop after EVERY track in the web player with firefox 82!

Hey @User242,

I understand your concern. It's not possible to autoplay on the Web Player, which is why I mentioned in my last reply to create a new Idea so that this could be a new feature on the Web Player.

Hope this helps - if you need anything else, just give me a shout!

Hello!

Please tell me, why it works with chrome (latest) and not with firefox(latest)?

Wy could i listen to several songs, one after another (the hole playlist) in chrome, but if I use firefox, i can't ??

Hey @User242

I tested this on Chrome - and it doesn't play the next song by itself. Can you send me a screen recording of what happens after one song is done playing? I'd like to take a look.

Keep me posted!

Hello!

I send you 2 video files.

Chrome.mp4

Web Player plays track 5 and after that, it plays track 6 WITHOUT any klick or so.

Firefox.mp4

Web Player plays track 5 and then it stops / does not play track 6.

This behaviour is on every pc with chrome and firefox....

Hey @User242,

Can you try this in an incognito browser and a different account in Firefox and see if that makes a difference?

Let me know how this goes!

behaviour

What can I do now?

Hi there @User242,

Can you let us know if the web player on Firefox behaves the same if you log in with a different account.

We'll be on the lookout for your reply.

Hello!
It behaves the same.

Hey @User242,

Thanks for testing that out!

Could you let us know if all playlists are affected or only specific ones? If it's the latter, we'd appreciate it if you share their Spotify URI's. That way we can better understand what's causing this behavior.

Keep us posted. We're always one reply away.

...every Playlist (generated from spotify or from me...), every album etc....

Hey there @User242,

Thank you for your reply.

Does this occur on your phone or computer or both?

Note: The browsers currently supported are Firefox 47+.

We'll keep an eye out for your reply 🙂

Cheers!

Hello!

It occours on:

It Occours NOT on:
Chrome browser (newest), Ipad newest App, Android 10 APP, Iphone 11
newest App, Webplayer.....

Hey @User242

No.This topic is completely different!

Once again:
The problem is this:
If I want to play an album or a playlist, it will NOT work with Firefox.
After ONE track the web player stops in firefox!

In Chrome, the web player plays the next track.

I have already sent you viedeos in which you can see and recognize the
problem!
I can't understand why it's so hard to see what the problem is!

Again: If a tracklist is to be played, the web player in Firefox ONLY
plays ONE TITLE and STOPS.

In CHROME HE PLAYS ALL TITLES!

Hey again @User242,

Thank you for your reply.

Can you try with another internet connections to see if the issue persists?

Keep us posted 🙂

Cheers!

Hello!

The problem is still there.

Webplayer stopps playlist / album in firefox after 1 Song.

It doesn't plays continuously.

In chrome - everything is ok.

Hey there @User242,

Thanks for getting back to us.

Can you try to clear the cache from your Firefox browser. After that remove any entries containing Spotify from the Host files on your PC - follow the guide provided here.

Let us know if this helped.

Cheers.
