Any other suggestions for resolving this issue?  I'm in the US and am experiencing the same problem stated above - song won't play or continual skipping of songs occurs, and application closing down when clicking the Play button.  I have restarted computer, uninstalled and reinstalled the application, restarted computer again, unchecked the Hardware Acceleration option in settings (as suggested above)…nothing is working.

Thank you for reaching out to the Community.

 

We understand you've already reinstalled the app, but could you do it one more time following these steps? They are more thorough than a regular reinstall and can be helpful to get rid of any cache that might be causing trouble with the app.

 

If the issue persists after that, can you log in with another account, such as a friend's or a family member's to see if the issue persists? Alternatively, you can create a free account here, just make sure you're logged out of your own account before creating a new one.
