Recent Searches do not show songs anymore.

My Question or Issue

1 month ago I updated my Spotify on my pc and my android phone and recent searches do not show songs anymore. I can search and play the songs but it is not stored in the recent search page. It only stores if I search and click on any artists/albums/playlists but not songs. I like to keep my songs in recent searches so that I can see their names and play them anytime without remembering which song I wanna listen to.

Please fix this.

Hi there @eThan0728,

Thank you for posting your question on the Community. 

Whenever you search for a song and play it directly from the results, it won't show on your Recent Searches. However, you can try this: 

1. Search for a song and click on the result: 

2. It will open the album/playlist containing the song, start playing it.

3. By doing this, the song will show on your Search Results next time. 

It's also worth mentioning that in order to not lose track of your listened songs, you can Like ♥, or add them to a playlist.
