My Question or Issue

For some reason I think the latest update made the recently played artists section on my profile really slow. For example, if I listen to an artist they won't show up in my recently played for at least a few hours. This wasn't an issue before, artists would show up at the top of my recently played list straight away as I listened to them. Anyone having a similar problem or know how to fix?

Hey @Woodyturner02 thanks for reaching out to the community with your query.

 

I know it sounds simple, but it's often overlooked. Could you try restarting your device? If that doesn't help, try a quick clean reinstall of the app. Just follow these steps.

If you're still having trouble, could you let me know the exact version of Spotify and the exact version of the operating system you're running?

I'll see what I can suggest next!

I have the exact same problem and posted on here yesterday asking for advice. Have tried restarting, reinstalling, nothing works. 

Have tried in iPhone7, Windows and iOS. 

Problem started five days ago and the lag is about 8 hours, then the artist appears. It used to be instantaneous.

I have tried mutiple times reinstalling spotify off of my desktop and it doesn't seem to be changing. 

 

My version of Spotify is 1.1.10.540. and my operating system build is Windows 10 version 1803 (OS Build 17134.829)
