Same recommendation in discover

Never had that problem before it usually change everyday.

It keep showing this same recommendation over and over.

It's easier than searching for an artist and go to fans also like.

Thank you for your first post on the Community, and welcome!

 

To start, let us know if you've already tried performing a clean reinstall of the app. This is often an overlooked step, but it’s more thorough than a regular one and can be helpful to get rid of any cache that might be causing these repeated recommendations.

 

Also, since you seem to be using the desktop app, please follow these steps to clear the Hosts file on your PC. 

 

Lastly, it could be helpful connecting to a different Wifi/mobile network and check your recommendations again.

 

If this doesn't do the trick, please let us know if this happens only in one device, or if in all of them.

If you've downloaded the app directly from our website, you could also try downloading it from the Microsoft Store and vice versa. 

 

Also, please let us know if this happens only in one device, or if in all of them.

Could you confirm if this is happening only on one device, or have you opened your account on other devices? 

 

On another note, do you activate the Private Listening feature often? The frequent usage of this feature might affect the personalized recommendations. 

 

Lastly, please let us know the Spotify app version you're currently running.

I use only windows 10.

I did not activate the private listening feature often.

Still the same.

Also, is it possible for you to open the account in other device? Could be a phone, PC, etc.

 

Lastly, please access to the Web Player and check if the recommendations are still the same.

It did change.

It's not possible to open the account in other device.

The recommendations are different.

Just to confirm, did the recommendations change when you used the web player? If so, could you try logging out from the desktop app, and logging back in to see if the info is synced?

It did change both web and desktop now still the same.

Thanks for keeping in touch.

 

Keep in mind that how often those recommendations change and update can vary depending on multiple factors, such as how actively you've been using the app, if you're listening to new artists and genres and Liked new music, etc., so it's expected that they'll remain the same for a while.

 

No worries though, as there are other cool ways to keep discovering new music based on your taste, like your Discover Weekly and Release Radar playlists, which are updated weekly, or the Radio feature, which you can start from any artist, playlist, album or song.
