Settings under "Social" tab not saving

Solved!

Settings under "Social" tab not saving

All of my settings stay changed after I exit and restart my Spotify app, EXCEPT for those under the Social tab. For example, if I turn off the "Show my current Top Artists" option, my recently played artists still remains visible on my profile to myself and others, and once I restart Spotify the option is automatically turned on already. This does not happen to any settings under the other tabs. Does anyone have a solution to this? Thanks!

The photo attached shows the settings I am talking about and the default settings they automatically revert to upon restarting the app.

(Note: I'm not sure whether this is true of the private session option, since I don't actually use it.)
