Shortcuts for DELETE, COPY and PASTE don't work

Shortcuts for DELETE, COPY and PASTE don't work

Hi,

Since my update earlier today, the shortcuts CTRL + X, CTRL + C, CTRL + V don't work anymore in the desktop app. Please fix this ASAP, I use those shortcuts constantly.

Thanks

Also, when you right-click an album title in a playlist, the context menu shows the options for the song, not for the album, which means you can't add the album to the cue anymore, you have to click on the album to open the album view, and then you can add it by right-clicking the cover in the album view. Before the last update right-clicking an album title would open the context menu for the album.

Exactly the same here. Please fix. Thanks.

The same here, also STRG+A. Please fix! Thx

As usual, you broke vital functions with your updates! The select all, copy, paste keys do not work on  desktop app Windows 10! Ctrl A, Ctrl C, Ctrl V! Stop doing nonsense! Don't touch the features your users use!

same here

For some reason I can't select all songs in a playlist anymore, since the last update (ctrl + a).

Why has this changed?

My Question or Issue

Ctrl+A to select songs in playlists doesn't work anymore. I can confirm this still works in 1.2.24.

Hey there, welcome to the Spotify Community!

When browsing a playlist, if you like to add all items from one playlist to another you can simply use the 3 dots menu and click add to another playlist.

This will save you a few clicks and you can quickly add all songs from one playlist to another.

Let me know if you need help with anything else.

Same problem here. I tried to reinstall but the problem remains. For your information, the version I use is:

Spotify para Windows (64 bit) / 1.2.25.1011.g0348b2ea

For myself, Ctrl + a was a lot easier en quicker.

JFC. I hope it's a bug that will be fixed, not yet another idiotic decision by the developers.
This is pretty basic - bring it back.

@Amayy - this is not a solution at all, if you want to put the songs at the beginning of the playlist, now you need to drag them through the entire playlist instead of just doing ctrl+x, ctrl+v at the beginning.

I really don't get how this one could be messed up so badly.

Hi everyone!

We've forwarded this to the attention of our tech folks who'll look further into it. As always, we'll keep you posted here as soon as we have any updates.

Cheers!

How cool is it to first break/remove the desired function, and then return it under the guise of “working on updates” and “fixing bugs” 🤔

@Amayy Try moving a track in which you have more than 1000 tracks from end to the beginning of the list. This could be done via hotkeys. How are you going to do this now?! 🤕

I have a theory the development team breaks the app so that it can work on "fixing it" later on. In order for them to have some work and not get fired. How else can you explain constant removal and bringing back the features?

Tell em Anton!

Updates are clearly released without testing. How do you break functionality as basic as copying and pasting without noticing?

Unless it wasn't a bug, just another hidden removal by genius Spotify project managers. For example, tidal doesn't let you do it as well - I switched to Tidal for a month about 2 years ago and this was the main reason I went back to Spotify.

My Question or Issue

Has control + A functionality to select all songs in a playlist or album been removed from the player because it doesn't seem to be working for me at the moment.
