Since I got premium I lost navigation when I rollover the icon

before I signed up for premium, I could simply roll my mouse over the icon in my windows dock area, and without having to open spotify I could stop/start/back/forward, there was a little navigation control there, now since I got premium, it's GONE.  sucks big time.  is there a setting I'm missing here??? or is this just an issue that needs fixing (badly)

Hey! Welcome to the community 🙂 

Try completely exiting (FIle > Exit) and restarting Spotify again. The media controls disappearing is a known issue outlined in this bugs topic.
