My Question or Issue

Whenever I try to play a song/playlist/album it seems to skip through a few songs without playing anything and then stops and gives me an error message saying "Spotify can't play this right now. If you have the file on your computer you can import it." I never use local files and I just want to be able to listen to music on my desktop. It works fine on my phone, my Google Home, and my TV. I even tried downloading the playlist/song/album and it still wouldn't work. Please help, I have tried all of the answers i have found on here before and none of them have worked.

It sounds like this could be a device-related issue. Could you give these steps a go and run a clean reinstall? This one is more thorough than the usual one.

 

It's also a good idea to try with another network. Are there any changes?
