Songs on playlist automatically switched out for live versions.

Why are some of the songs on my playlists automatically switched out for live versions of the song?

The album edition, that I chose for my playlist, is still available to listen to and it's possible to add it to my playlists again aswell.

Why would it be switched out automatically in the first place? 

Is there a setting that stops this behaviour or something?

@Mantastic - When this happens, is there a small chain like symbol beside the track in your playlist?
