My Question or Issue

I've owned Spotify premium for 1.5 years now and haven't run into this problem yet. Couple days ago I got on my usual playlist and started to listen to music. Suddenly Spotify started to skip songs. If I went on the app when it happened, it just crashed and reset all my ongoing music settings (volume, song, etc). It has never happened to me before but for couple of days it just has skipped the songs and crashed on several occasions for no reason.

Spotify is currently aware of an Ongoing Issue causing the app to skip to the next track on its own; and users posting in the Ongoing Issue thread have reported the app crashing as well. 

I recommend adding your +VOTE to the Ongoing Issue, as well as a comment there with the following info (which will be passed on to the internal teams at Spotify to look further into this issue):

• The version of your operating system
• The version of your Spotify app
• The troubleshooting steps you've tried so far

It will also be useful for you to Subscribe to the Ongoing Issue by clicking the three dots next to its title; that way, you can be sure to be informed of any relevant updates.
