My Question or Issue

When I try to play any song it'll either play for a few seconds then stop, or just not play at all. It'll come up with an "error" that says something like "it is not possible to play the current song". I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, logging out and back in but nothing seems to work. My internet connection is fine. What's confusing me is that it works perfectly fine on my s7, but not on my pc.

Hi @SakariasB, thanks for writing!

Please try the following first if you haven't yet:

  • Reinstall the app using these instructions
  • Make sure the latest audio drivers drivers are installed and reboot the PC
  • Try a different network
  • (if possible) Try a different account

Let me know if this helps!

Reinstalling didn't change anything, my audio drivers are up to date and I'd prefer not to use a different account.

What did you mean by "try using a different network"?

I have the EXACT same problem. One song will work for about 2 seconds and then stop playing. Or I'll have like 3 songs that work and then 90% of the rest wont. I've dont the same steps as you (uninstalling ect.) and Disabling harware acceleration and all the other 'Fixes' I found on google.

This is so annoying and at this rate i'll be binning my subscription.

Furthermore, my web player doesn't work either. Only my Phone.

Have you tried enabling crossfade and setting it to 0 seconds?

Crossfade?

I'm sorry. All the way down in the settings under advanced settings there's an option called crossfade songs. I remember enabling this with 0 seconds solving a similar issue.

Hey @SakariasB,

You can create a personal hotspot using your mobile and connect your PC to this wi-fi network.

@ReecePharo, there's currently an ongoing issue that's under investigation, and the thread might help you. You can post your comments if you feel like it.

Hope this is more helpful!

Hey @janni3, thank you!

That's a great workaround 🙂
