Spotify Autoplay + Crossfade: Any way to switch songs earlier?

My Question or Issue

Hello Community,

so I make a playlist for a wedding of a friend of mine and everything is going fine.

I love to crossfade option, however, I dont think the guests would like it if the song has to be played 100% until the next song comes in the playlist.

DJ's let a song play for max 1:30 too, so id love to know if theres anyway I can start the crossfade way earlier? So that a song plays maybe 2mins and then the next song starts? Thank you in advance

Hi, welcome to the community, and thanks for sharing your question! There is currently not a way to extend crossfade to the extent you've mentioned, but please feel free to submit an idea here, and you might also have a look at this idea for a DJ version of Spotify. Although the idea is marked as "not right now," the Spotify team will certainly continue to monitor feedback, and there is some recommended DJ software on that page that perhaps would be worth looking into.
