Hi,
I run a fully up to date Win 7 Pro machine. Sound works for everything else.
I have latest iTunes installed (read somewhere here, thgat that can help.
I have uninstalled Spotify, re-booted and reinstalled.
Still no Spotify sound.
Bit disappointed that for an Unlimited account there is no Helpdesk.
Anyone any ideas?
Thanks,
M

Hey! Welcome to the community 🙂
Can you double check that Spotify is not being muted in the Windows Sound Mixer (System Tray > Sound > Mixer) and that the volume inside the Spotify client is not turned down (volume slider is beside the play/pause buttons). Also try disabling "Enable Hardware Acceleration" in the Edit > Preferences menu of Spotify.

Oh, yes. Spotify has full rights in my Firewall (F-Secure).

Hi everybody,
I just read your conversation and i have the same problem on my mobile phone which is a Samsung Galaxy S4. I never faced problems with spotify.
I have my premium account. Music is playing but i have no sound.
I uninstalled the app and reinstalled but nothing changed.
I did everything i found on internet bu still no sound. Can you help me please?
Thanks,
Nicolas
@NicoParis10 - You might have more success if you make another topic of your own over in the Android section. 😉
First thing that comes to mind is making sure that a) Spotify isn't muted and b) try turning the equaliser off.
