When I try to install the normal Spotify desktop program (not the one from the Microsoft store) it will automatically change (?) to the Microsoft store version.

Help!

Hi @7evenlxrd, thanks for writing!

What's your operational system?

Please check bellow the steps to reinstall your Spotify app properly and let me know if it helps!

  1. Close Spotify
  2. Go to the Control Panel.
  3. Click Programs and Features.
  4. Select Spotify in the list and click uninstall.
  5. Follow the instructions on the screen.
  6. Download and install Spotify.

WINDOWS 10

  1. Open Spotify and click File in the menu bar. Select Exit.
  2. Click the Start button. Select Settings.
  3. Open System.
  4. Click Apps & features, then select Spotify.
  5. Click Uninstall. Click Uninstall again in the pop-up to confirm.
  6. Download and install Spotify from the Windows Apps store.

Hey @7evenlxrd, I see.

But if you have Windows 10, that's the way to install the app.

What don't you like about it? Please share your thoughts!

Really? Microsoft Store Edition is unstable. Desktop Version is better :\

Just try this time, @7evenlxrd

I guess the recent updates have made the app more stable.

Keep me posted!
