My Question or Issue

The cavalcade of absolutely horrible spotify podcasting experience continues:

Spotify Windows app will autoplays already completed podcasts once currently listened to episode finishes.

Issues:

1. It disregards the "Autoplay similar songs when your music ends." option, which should guarantee playback won't continue after the queue ends.

2. It fails to keep track of which podcast episodes user already listened to.

3. It's missing a feature parity with Android App, where it's possible for user to at least manually mark episodes as played.

Thanks for posting on the Community about this. 
 

If you're still experiencing issues with the Autoplay feature we recommend first running a clean reinstall of Spotify on your PC. This will get you the latest app version with all necessary updates. 

If you see no difference after the clean reinstall, check the hosts file on the PC for entries that need to be removed. Follow the steps described here on how you can do that. Let us know the outcome and we'll assist further if needed.
