Spotify app freezes on Windows 10

My Question or Issue

I am using PC and listening to Spotify for few hours and all of a sudden last 3 seconds of the music a being replied all the time, the apps on pc barely work, can't shut down, only hard reset helps.

All drivers and Windows are updated. This is not happening with other app that use sound like Chrome with Youtube.

Reinstalled the app, didn't helped.

Tried Spotify help and it useless. They even didn't asked for log files or anything.

Sorry to hear that you're having this experience with the Desktop app.

We'd recommend the following:

• Run a clean reinstall of the app, following the steps from this Spotify Answer exactly.
• Go into the app Settings and disable Hardware Acceleration
• If none of that helps, you can try to clear any entries containing Spotify from your host files. Follow the Solution here for more info on how to do that.
