Spotify defaults to Bluetooth Headset profile

My Question or Issue

I have a set of bluetooth earbuds which support both headphones and headset profile. I listen to Spotify with the bluetooth headphones profile 90% of the time, but when I need to join audio conferences (Teams, Webex, etc.), my earbuds switch to the headset profile. After I finish my conference meeting and I try to resume my audio in Spotify, Spotify defaults to the headset profile instead of going back to the headphone profile. I surmise this is because it defaults to the last used profile. However, the audio quality on the headset profile is very poor and not suitable for listening. The only way to get Spotify to switch back to the headphones profile is to close and re-open spotify. Can you please change this behavior so Spotify defaults to the headphone profile?
