For some time I have been having problems playing music in a desktop application. The problem was that the different songs did not play when they should. I have relogin again but this did not solve the problem. I've reinstalled the app, but it has further ruined the issue. Now the music is not played at all. Whatever I play, it does not work. The problem occurs in an application downloaded from the official Spotify website. I use Windows 10 and the premium version. There is no such problem on my iPhone. The attached screenshot shows what is happening.

This a known bug with the desktop app and Spotify is investigating the issue. There is a workaround which seems to be working for some users. Can you try the following steps:
