Hi @Asy_Irwin,

try using the full installer package: http://download.spotify.com/Spotify%20Installer.exe and let me know if it works.

It has solved some similar issues with Windows 10 users.

Couldn't open or uninstall Spotify in Windows 10 until I downloaded your full install link which FINALLY WORKED!! I think my problem started after the last Windows update. Tried other suggested solutions but nothing worked. Huge THANKYOU!!

Hi again.
Every time I open Spotify this is what happens [screenshot atached]
It just stays like this, nothing happens next
I'm confused
I re-installed it multiple times, but it's pointless

some for me on WIn 7

This WORKED!

Jesus finally - other posts talked about updating driver software/re-installing/unchecking high quality streaming.

Nothing worked until this.

Thank you!

Great! You're welcome 🙂

I got even the old version to work on my Windows 10 laptop just by clicking on the executable.

I need the old version to copy-paste playlists into excel by artist-title, and it's also more useful for inserting local tracks into playlists.

@Flyworks yes, I also had a problem with spotify on Windows 10. It works when I used this old installer but after the second update I cannot start Spotify again.I wish someone fixed it.

Same here work with old version and spotify update and i just see all black again...Windows 10 x64 here..I hope they fix this since i play for a premium

Well it work again all i do was uninstall tuneup 2016 because already pass the trial and work again, so if any have same problem like me blackscreen spotify try unistall any tune up or any program like iobit and just stay with ccleaner at lest is free and do mess with your system.

Thanks!! Same problem and I think this fixed it.

Thaaaaankss bruuuhhhh
