Spotify for Vista will not play on device

Up until a few days ago, Spotify for Vista (spotify.com/download/other) would still play music on the local computer. However, in the last few days, the app has become completely nonfunctional. This is very frustrating because I still use this Vista PC as a Spotify "hub" for some older speakers in a room.

PLEASE SPOTIFY DEVS, even though this app is outdated, can it at least be functional again? Bare minimum is OK!!!

Currently, the app will only work on desktops and laptops running Windows 7 or above. For more info, we suggest that you check this article.

In this case, we'd recommend playing Spotify from your browser on our web player.
