Spotify glitching after a new Windows update

Spotify glitching after a new Windows update

I just updated my windows and when opening Spotify it's just a transparent window. I've tried uninstalling, resetting and "repairing" as Windows likes to call it.

Edit:

Yes, I've tried restarting my computer. 🙂

I have the same problem but mine doesn't even come up transparent, just blank then sometimes this error ,

I have the same problem. I can see the edges of the Spotify window, but not the content of the window.

I just found a workaround:

1) Uninstall the Spotify App

2) Reinstall the Spotify App

3) Launch the Spotify App

4) Left click in the transparent window in the upper left corner

5) Navigate to View and deselect 'Hardware Acceleration'.

6) Click OK.

After doing that, I'm able to see the window again.

That worked for me, thank you!!

I see no transparent window.

Hey @user-removed

Left-clicking in this approximate area top-left of the blank window is not doing anything either?
You can also try hitting Alt-key in the window, this should trigger the Spotify menu to open.

You mentioned some error. Please tell me what error you're seeing (screenshot, if possible). 🙂

Let me know!
