Spotify in offline mode, great internet connection

My Question or Issue

 Windows 7 Prof desktop, suddenly Spotify is telling me I'm in offline mode. Checked the board here and tried all the "fixes" I could find. (restarted router, restarted computer, removed and reinstalled Spotify (it worked I think on the version that downloaded but putz'd up as soon as I downloaded the "most recent version", which was the one I originally had). This is extremely frustrating. Btw, app still works fine on my work laptop (Windows 10) and it controls my Bose Wave III just fine. Any help is greatly appreciated.
