Spotify is muted in sound mixer, and cant unmute.

My Question or Issue

The spotify app mutes after sometime. The song continues to play, but nothing is heard. Other apps can be heard with no issues. In the volume mixer, spotify is muted and cant be unmuted. This remains, irrespective of audio output chosen (speakers and headphones).

The only way to resolve this issue is to uninstall, and reinstall spotify on my PC. 

this issue has been there since I had my pc on windows 10.

Hey @Shrenik 

I see you're using Microsoft Teams, which has caused similar issues to other users too.
Here is a thread where people have offered what has helped them. The most functional is disabling all other sound devices, which makes me feel Teams takes hold of audio output Spotify would be using and is not letting anything else use the device.
