Spotify is trying to play

My Question or Issue

My question is that when i start music it only shows "Spotify is trying to play". Then no other notifications pops up or i should say there is no notification on above panel. Its annoying because there is no info about what music is playing right now. Kindly Spotify help with this problem. Thanks.

Could you tell us if the issue started after a recent OS update?

Changing tunes, let us know if this is happening when logging in with other devices. 

Lastly, we suggest that you log out everywhere. You'll find this option by scrolling down here. Afterwards, reinstall the app on your device (you'll need to download your tunes again if you have Premium). Once this process is completed, restart your device before launching Spotify again.
