Spotify offline songs storage location can't be changed

Just as the title said, i have been trying to change my offline save location from an ssd to an hdd but i can't

Hope you are doing great!

You can change locaiton by going into Settings, scrolling at the bottom, clicking on Show Advanced Settings. Then look for Offline Songs Storage. Click on Change location and you should be good to go.

The problem is, when i change it, spotify tell me to restart, and when i did that, went in setting to check again, the save location is still the default location

Sorry to hear that it didn't work.

I know it sounds simple, but it's often overlooked. Could you try restarting your device? If that doesn't help, try a quick clean reinstallation of the app. Just follow the steps here. If that doesn't work try to use this guide for a more thorough uninstall of Spotify 🙂

If you're still having trouble, could you let me know the exact version of Spotify and the exact version of the operating system you're running?
