Solved!

Spotify on 2 PCs but only 1 detected my phone

I installed Spotify on my XP desktop and W7 notebook but the notebook is not able to detect my android phone although my desktop does. Yes, I did ensure only one was on at every attempt of the link-up. Is this a flaw I shouldn't be getting or an acknowledged limitation by design? I am a premium subscriber.

Hey! Welcome to the community 🙂

On the Windows 7 notebook, can you try running Spotify as administrator? Exit Spotify (File > Close) and then open it again by right clicking on the desktop icon and selecting "Run as Administrator". You might also need to allow Spotify through Windows Firewall on Windows 7.

Did as instructed and my phone was detected by the W7 notebook. Many thanks Peter.

No worries, enjoy your music! 🙂
