Spotify rapidly skips every song in a playlist until it reaches the end.

I've lost track of how long this has been happening, it's ridiculous.

SOMETIMES when I go to skip a song, Spotify will then rapidly skip every song in the playlist until it reaches the final song. However, once this happens I am unable to change/skip/select another song or playlist. Even when I restart spotify the same thing will happen, I lose complete control. I'm not sure if it is do with me using the macros on my keyboard to control the music, but to be honest it shouldn't matter. 

I am aware of other people having the same issue and I've had enough of it. 

A solution or fix would be greatly appreciated.
