Spotify skipping songs, then pausing, immediately after I press play.

My Question or Issue

As soon as I play any songs on PC, Spotify instantly pauses, if I press play again it just skips to the next song and pauses again. No sound is played at all during this.

I've tried disabling hardware acceleration and reinstalling. 

Spotify works fine on my phone though.

Windows 10 go too task manager. press end task on spotify. clear cache ,reboot computer too get a fresh start .try Spotify !

Thanks for reaching out to the Community.

You can clear the cache of the app and remove any damaged leftover files by using this guide for a clean reinstall.  As @Blingblaow mentioned, don't forget to reboot the computer before starting the freshly installed app. This is a simple, but very effective step.
