Spotify won't connect to the internet

My Question or Issue

Spotify was saying "internet connection unavailable" despite being connected and browsing websites. Tried resetting the wifi router, messing with Spotify settings and checking if I'm in offline mode. Nothing work and then I made the mistake of logging out, and no longer can log in because spotify isn't connected to the internet. A fresh reinstall doesn't work either as it still will not connect to the internet. Firewall isn't blocking it and if I open Spotify via web browser it works fine but I prefer the program.

Could use some help figuring it out.

Sorry to hear you're having an issue.

I would like to point out that there's an active ongoing similar issue of the same nature that is under investigation here.

Please make sure to add your +VOTE and follow the official steps provided.

Furthermore, i would recommend checking out that your OS if fully updated and to restart your modem/router as it might help.
