Spotify won't load, Albums, Songs or Artists

I have a spotify premium account and whenever I open up spotify and want to go to albums or songs I've browsed for and saved they won't show. If I click either of the three tabs, a loading icon will appear and nothing will come up, i've left it loading for an hour and still it wouldn't load my songs, albums or artists up. Seriously, this is ridiculous one of the core functions of any music streaming service is unavailable on spotify for me. Does anyone have any solutions?

FYI I use windows 10 (Surface pro 4, if that makes a difference)

Hey @rap_god,

Try a clean reinstall:

Log out of Spotify and then close the program.

Uninstall

Browse to the cache. The default location should be C:\Users\%Username%\AppData\Local\Spotify\Storage and delete everything inside the folder.

Delete the folder C:\Users\%Username%\AppData\Local\Spotify\Users\<random numbers-user>\ There is a folder for each profile that has been logged into Spotify on that computer account.

Reinstall.

Hopefully that'll fix it.

Well, this is happening to me on mobile, it's not my internet connection, and I've already tried to unnistall multiple times

Same problem here. I use the web app with Firefox on Windows 8.1 Pro 64bit.

I click on Artists and it loads only a few of all my followed artists (still below 100 btw).It shows the little loading circle but nothing is actually loading, even if I leave it like that for hours.

Internet works fine. No virus.

This ain't worth the money I pay for premium guys. Fix it.

i dont know what you did or what happened but seems to work now. maybe was just some technical problem of spotify changing the web app design recently. anyway, thank you 🙂

I’m having this same issue but on the app with my iPhone. Does anyone have any fixes for that?? It’s so annoying.

Hey @Kaileybjewell

There are issues affecting mobile and web player right now. Spotify is aware of the issues and is working on a fix.

I suggest keeping your eye on SpotifyStatus on twitter, updates will be posted there. 🙂
