Spotify won't play any songs suddenly

It was working just fine yesterday but suddenly, it won't play anything. First, it was just a no sound problem but I fixed it and now my speaker plays youtube and anything else with sound except for Spotify. 

I just get the error message of either "We cannot play current song" or "Song isn't available, play from files if you have it" (yes, paraphrasing). But yeah, it tries to play it but ends up skipping right on down the playlist. Sometimes it works if I unplug my speaker and just leave my laptop's built-in ones so it just seems like Spotify just won't recognize my speaker when it's plugged in. 

It does work if I play on mobile but if I change the device to my laptop, same errors. 

I've restarted Spotify and my laptop so many times, turned on and off the hardware acceleration, turned on and off the local file sources, etc. I really don't know what's going on, Spotify did update a couple days ago but it didn't stop playing music til a day or two after.
